Senior Market Risk Analyst - HQ

For HQ, Prague we are looking for Senior Market Risk Analyst.

Responsibilities:

2nd line of defense for Market Risk in Home Credit Group
Independent Oversight of Interest Rate Risk & Foreign Exchange Risk & Capital Management Risk & Counterparty Risk
Cooperate on mitigation of regulatory gaps, adapting to current developments and future directions in market risk management
Maintenance of internal risk regulations. Quality of leadership experienced throughout the group regard to propagating and championing on regulatory and internal policies regular update and compliance.
Supporting country businesses in process & regulatory areas (from individual and consolidated perspective) related to Market/Liquidity/Capital/Counterparty risk
Effective challenge of Asset Liability Management/Treasury function
Capital Risk Management, oversight and propose the optimal capital structures to HQ treasury or to Local Risk teams
Assist with implementation of group ALM/IRR system solution
Compliance levels against established standards or benchmarks across the group
Participate in definition and preparation of supporting documents for the different executive committees (Group ALCO, BoD, Group Risk Committee), Regulatory reporting – ICAAP, ILAAP
Participate on the development of Balance Sheet Management strategies, governance and stress testing
Identify emerging risks and control issues, work on set up Risk Appetite Limits, Early Warning Indicators
Counterparty risk management and monitoring (big banks/big corporations)
Building risk awareness amongst staff by providing support and training within the company

Requirements:

Education/Experience

Need-to-have areas

Experience of at least 5 years in banking on Risk/Treasury
Degree in Economics, Finance, Management, Math or similar
Fluency in English, with excellent oral and written communication skills
Nice-to-have areas

Experience in company managing subordinate companies
Good understanding of Market Risk concepts and metrics (VaR, EVE/NII, scenario analysis, risk sensitivities, etc.) and governance frameworks
Knowledge and experience in regulatory banking risk management guidelines and modern financial risk management practices and ability to initiate and implement tactical changes to support business performance
Knowledge and effective application of all relevant banking policies, processes, procedures and guidelines to consistently achieve required compliance standards or benchmarks
